Be Our Guest offers breakfast 8 AM -10:30 AM. Guests can make an early morning Advance Dining Reservation and get past the new Fantasyland rope drop area before the rope officially drops.

How to Place Your Order

This is not your average quick service restaurant. Guests can place their order on a touch screen kiosk the day of their reservation. They can also order and customize their meals up to thirty days in advance on the My Disney Experience App or My Disney Experience website.

Cashiers are available for guests paying in cash or those with special dietary needs.

For the kids, there are crepes, french toast and cereals.

Early Morning Advance Dining Reservations and Why to Get Them

Be Our Guest offers early morning Advance Dining Reservations. Guests can eat at the restaurant before the park is open.

Due to the Magic Kingdom Rope Drop changes made in 2017, Main Street opens an hour before the rest of the park (usually 8 AM).  Entrances to the Magic Kingdom lands are cordoned off until the park officially opens – usually at 9 AM. This changes with Extra Magic Hours.

Guests with a reservation for 8 AM will be let into Magic Kingdom about 7:40 AM. This is now one of the only ways left to get that quintessential empty park picture in front of Cinderella’s castle.

Be Our Guest Restaurant is located deep inside Fantasyland, past the cordoned entrance area. Guests with early reservations will get past the Fantasyland rope drop early. Woohoo!

A town crier on Main Street directs those with early reservations to a check in at a kiosk on the hub in front of Cinderella’s castle.

Guests finishing breakfast by 8:40 have been known to get on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride before the park officially opens.

Since Be Our Guest restaurant is a quick service meal without characters, having one of the earliest reservations might mean that you get to queue up first for your favorite Fantasyland ride. This can mean beating the lines at the start of the park day for the most popular rides, including the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride.

Where should you go if you have the chance to beat the lines? The answer depends on your group.

For many, it will be the Seven Dwarfs Mine train ride. It is an extremely popular attraction and can have epic waits.

For groups with young kids, Peter Pan’s Flight and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh are good attractions to head to after your early morning ADR at Be Our Guest.

*If a reservation is before 8:45 AM, guests should  find a Cast Member with a tablet to check them in for their reservation. They will be directed to the line for early morning ADRs. This is usually located on the left side of the main gate area.

Be Our Guest Lunch

Be Our Guest lunch is a quick (counter) service meal.

How to Place Your Order

Just as with breakfast, ordering lunch is a bit different at Be Our Guest than it is at most counter service restaurants in Walt Disney World. Guests can place their order on a touch screen kiosk the day of their reservation or those with reservations can order and customize their meals up to thirty days in advance on the My Disney Experience App or My Disney Experience website.

Be Our Guest Dinner

Dinner is a table service meal. Dinner offerings are a heartier fare than lunch. The Beast can be found sitting in his chair in the entrance hall or visiting the dining room, but Disney does not consider this to be true character meal.

Dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant requires one Disney Dining Plan table service credit.

How to Place Your Order

This is a traditional table service meal and orders are placed with a waiter or waitress.

Be Our Guest Dinner Menu

Soups, salads and mussels are available as appetizers to start your meal. Hearty French fare including roasted pork tenderloin, rack of lamb, grilled strip steak, and ratatouille are among the entree offerings. Dessert is the same as lunch with cupcakes, including the Master’s Cupcake, cream puffs or an orange eclair.

Kids’ meals include Mickey Meatloaf, grilled fish, steak, and a chicken brochette.

Wine, beer, and champagne are also available with dinner at Be Our Guest.

The Grey Stuff

Lumiere urged Belle to”[t]ry the grey stuff, it’s delicious,” as he serenaded her through her first dinner in the Beast’s castle…

You too can try the grey stuff when you visit Be Our Guest Restaurant.

What is it? The grey stuff is actually whipped cookies and cream panna cotta. The result is a creamy dessert with the consistency of a light mousse,  and it is topped with sugar pearls.

The grey stuff is offered as a stand-alone dessert at dinner.

You can also try the grey stuff in “The Master’s Cupcake” at breakfast and lunch. It can be purchased for one snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.

The texture is not unlike a heavy whipped cream. It is tasty, but I am planning to try one of the other cupcakes on my next trip. You can let us know what you think of The Grey Stuff in the comments below.

Be Our Guest Rooms and Theme

Be Our Guest Restaurant has three dining rooms that are all imaginative and intricately-designed. Guests are immersed in the ambiance of Beast’s Castle. The three rooms all have the same menu.

1. The Grand Ballroom – A magnificent ballroom with a domed ceiling rising 20 feet, soaring windows which look out onto the French countryside during a gentle snow, beautiful chandeliers, and an airy ceiling mural.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

2. Rose Gallery – This dining area rings a large music box centerpiece that stands almost 7 feet tall.

The story behind the music box is that Maurice, Belle’s father, carved it to “to celebrate the couple’s love,” according to Walt Disney Imagineering.

Guests who go to the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction can even find the drawings of the music box in Maurice’s Cottage if they look hard enough.

There are tiny rose details woven throughout the Rose Gallery, much as Disney weaves Hidden Mickeys throughout all of Disney World. Finding all the roses is a fun way to pass the time as you wait for your food.

What’s missing? The enchanted rose. You will need to look in the West Wing dining room for that!

3. The West Wing – The Beast’s West Wing has the darkest theming of all three rooms at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Its dramatic decor, ripped painting of the prince before he became the Beast, and of course, the enchanted rose can be found here. It is representative of the forbidden West Wing in Beast’s Castle.

Be Our Guest Restaurant History

Be Our Guest Restaurant opened on November 19, 2012. It has historically been one of the most difficult places to secure a reservation in all of Walt Disney World. That continues to be true to this day.

It took a team of Disney chefs more than three years to develop the original menu. When it opened, the restaurant served only lunch and dinner. Breakfast was later added due to the restaurant’s overwhelming popularity amongst guests.

Disney seeks to tell a story through dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant. “Our role is to finish the story,” said Walt Disney World Executive Chef Lenny DeGeorge.

Be Our Guest was the first restaurant in the Magic Kingdom to serve alcohol. Wine, beer, and champagne are offered.

“As part of the overall theming, we wanted to offer wine that enhances the guest experience and complements the French-inspired cuisine…The wines focus primarily on France’s famous wine-growing regions, including Champagne, Alsace, Loire, Rhone, Burgundy and Bordeaux” – Stuart McGuire, Beverage Director, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

As of 2017, there are five table service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom where alcohol is served.

Be Our Guest Restaurant Discounts

Be Our Guest participates in Tables in Wonderland for its members, providing 20% off dinner.

Gaston’s Restaurant

If you are looking to try to meet Gaston or sample some of the food at Gaston’s restaurant, you will need to head to Gaston’s Tavern. It is also located in New Fantasyland, close to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid ride.

You can get snacks like vegetables cups, hummus with chips, fruit cups and cinnamon rolls. You can also try LeFou’s Brew—the restaurant’s signature non-alcoholic drink.

No alcohol is served at Gaston’s Tavern.
