Table Service Magic Kingdom Restaurants

At table service restaurants, you will be seated before ordering. You will place your order and pay for your food with your server.

You will probably need reservations to eat at any of the table service restaurants.

Ideally, these should be booked as early as possible, which is 180 days in advance, or up to 190 days in advance of the first day of a trip for those with a Disney resort reservation. These may be slightly easier to come by during times of the year that are less busy than others.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Official Menu

Location: New Fantasyland

Cuisine: French

Meals served: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Tables in Wonderland: Yes (dinner)

Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of the most popular places to dine in all of Walt Disney World Resort, and therefore one of the hardest dining reservations to get, especially for dinner. We have an extensive guide to and review of Be Our Guest that provides extremely detailed and in-depth information on this lovely French restaurant.

Be Our Guest offers three meals. While other restaurants are strictly table service or quick/counter service, Be Our Guest has both depending on the meal that guests choose to eat there. Breakfast and lunch are quick service and dinner is table service.

Advanced Dining Reservations are needed for all three meals. Most Disney restaurants do not require reservations for quick or counter service restaurants, but Be Our Guest is the exception. Guests can place breakfast and lunch orders 30 days ahead of time.

Since many aspects of the quick service procedures are unusual, such as the need for reservations, and dinner is strictly table service, we have listed Be Our Guest amongst table service offerings for the purposes of organizing this article.

Although the Beast is there during dinner, it is not considered a true character meal.

Guests dine inside one of three dining rooms in Beast’s castle. If you want to see the enchanted rose, you will need to get a table in the forbidden, and foreboding, West Wing.

The Disney Dining Plan is accepted. A quick service credit is required for breakfast and lunch and a table service credit is required for dinner. At breakfast and lunch, guests can use a snack credit on some items, such as the Master’s Cupcake. If you are looking to try the Grey Stuff, it can be found in and on the Master’s Cupcake, as well as at dinner as a standalone dessert.

Magic Kingdom Restaurants

At dinner, beer and wine can be purchased. Be Our Guest Restaurant was the first restaurant to offer alcohol in the Magic Kingdom…

but now guests 21 and over can get adult libations at five table service restaurants in the park. Disney made this change in 2017.

This is a character meal. Not only do guests get to meet Cinderella before being seated, but an assortment of princesses will come to each table throughout the meal for a meet and greet where guests can snap photos and get autographs…

and maybe a kiss!

This moment ended up with a baby sporting a bright red lipstick print on her forehead.

The Disney Dining Plan is accepted. Cinderella’s Royal Table is considered a Fine/Signature Dining and therefore requires two table service credits per person.

Magic Kingdom Character Dining Restaurants

In our detailed list of all the restaurants, we have identified those with a character dining experience by this handshake icon. There are only two true character dining experiences at Magic Kingdom:

  • Cinderella’s Royal Table (meet Cinderella as well as a rotating selection of other princesses)
  • Crystal Palace (meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the 100 Acre Woods)

The Beast is usually available to meet on your way into Be Our Guest for dinner, but Disney does not consider this a character meal.

Our Overall Favorite Magic Kingdom Restaurant

This goes to Be Our Guest. The theming, food, and efficiency of this restaurant are all truly top notch. The fact that a well-planned early breakfast can get guests onto rides ahead of time is also a huge plus now that the Disney has changed its opening procedures. If you would like more information on this spectacular Magic Kingdom Restaurant, we provide a review with extremely detailed information for your reading pleasure.
